JMSI has a 20+ year association with UEM Group in finalizing & assisting with many turnkey project implementations.

Some noteworthy accomplishments are listed below.

  • Negotiated licensing agreements with:

    *Walker Process Equipment (USA) for Wastewater Equipment / Systems & Biogas Mixing Equipment for use in projects in India & nearby countries, & for UEM’s turnkey STP plants.

    *Graver Water Systems (USA) for Seawater Desalination Pretreatment Systems for lamella clarification & multi media filtration with chemical treatment for 68 MGD seawater desalination plant at Reliance Industries Jamnagar Refinery in Gujarat, India.

  • Provided expertise on 48 MGD sewage treatment plant in Nilothi, India.

  • Participated in Design, Engineering & Procurement of Systems / Equipment for Toray Nylon & Nakornthai Strip Mill project in Thailand.

  • Involved in developing, selling & implementation assistance on wastewater treatment projects for Procter & Gamble in Indonesia & Thailand; & Uniliver in Mexico & Ecuador.

  • Engaged as share holder in establishing business entity in Mexico & Trinidad. Trinidad operation evolved from 1-man unit to 35+ personnel team, eventually implementing 40+ projects in water supply & treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping stations, pipeline works & such,  with capacity increases from 400 m3/day upto 25,000 m3/day. Water treatment  plants included surface, aquifer water, desalination, etc.

  • Collaborated with construction company in Turkey in implementing 140,000 m3/day potable water treatment plant.

  • Conducted feasibility study via U.S. Department of Commerce eco grants for wastewater treatment solution for municipality in Ukraine.

Marketed, developed & participated in implementation of:

  • First distillery vinasse digester renewable biogas project in Guatemala for 125KLPD distillery. Also organized financing & developed BOT project. This was first project approved in whole region under United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for carbon credits.

  • Three pig farm manure digester projects in Mexico.

  • Wastewater treatment plant for Mead Johnson Nutrition in Mexico (healthcare production facility).

  • Water supply project, securing EXIM (Export-Import Bank of the United States) financing aid for 100,000 strong community in Mampong (Ashanti Region) Ghana.

  • First distillery vinasse digester renewable biogas project in Guyana for 120,000 lpd distillery. 

  • First of its kind pulp-mill-waste-water-to-renewable-energy project generating 5.35 MW of electricity for captive use in Canada.

  • Distillery biogas renewable energy project for 350,000 lpd & 275,000 lpd distillery in Guatemala.

JMSI's working relationship with UEM has resulted in over US$ 150 million in revenue generation by latter EPC company.
